After experiencing various symptoms for over a year with no answers, Linda discovered Diagnostic Healthcare. She recently shared her story and explained why she chose to pay for her own private treatment.
Linda said:
“I had been suffering with stomach pains and other symptoms for a long time and was sure that I had a stomach ulcer, as I have had them in the past. After the GP referred me for various tests, I had been given the all clear, but I was still experiencing a lot of pain and didn’t want to wait any longer for more testing. Linda booked an Abdominal Ultrasound Scan at her local Diagnostic Healthcare clinic.
“I couldn’t believe how easy it was to book in, I requested a call back for the same day, then within the week I was there for my scan.”
The ultrasound revealed the presence of gallstones, a common but often painful condition. Our sonographer took the time to explain the findings and answered her questions, making sure Linda felt informed and supported before leaving the clinic.
“I was so grateful to finally have some answers, before this, I was starting to think that I would never find out what was wrong with me. The team at Diagnostic Healthcare were incredible. My sonographer was really thorough in explaining the process of the scan and took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns.”
Linda received a full report from her ultrasound scan which she has since taken back to her GP to discuss the next steps in her treatment.
